I wouldn't be surprised if this trial ends with a hung jury or deciding in her favor.

I'm hoping it goes in her favor. Not that I'm a big fan of her, but I really don't like that other lady..

I'm not a fan of brats and to me, she comes across as bratty.

You participate in a program that provides you with a scholarship, IMO you don't have a leg to stand on when you get bounced from that program for not following the rules. It bothers me that people might be willing to overlook that, "so she can live her dream."

That's not my take at all. I'm actually against all the beauty contest everything and find the people that take part in them mostly repulsive. Just in this case, if I had to pick the lesser of two evils, I'd go with the girl. That woman just comes across as seriously uppity and not nice at all. I also noticed she has quite a double chin, which I found pretty ironic..

That makes sense. Neither side is very appealing here.

Saw a tweet a couple of minutes ago that the jury has reached a verdict. We'll find out soon.

The jury "sided with the beauty queen," according to the KSAT reporter's tweet.

I'd love to see the jury. I bet they like their tacos, and wouldn't dream of laying off them.
