Does anyone have any recommendations? Trying to add a little variety to my very boring diet. We went to Soup or Salad last week and doubt that we will return. I know Ruby Tuesday's has one but don't remember if it's very good.
I would appreciate any suggestions you might have

Ruby Tuesday's is good, but if you're dieting, those amazing croutons would be too tempting. Jason's Deli has a nice salad bar. Soup or Salad is so disappointing....so much potential and what a waste. I miss Zoopa's. I think that was the name.....over in the Quarry. Awesome salad bar! It's too bad one can't wrap a salad in a tortilla, otherwise we'd be in luck in San Antonio.

The salad bar at Ruby Tuesdays (AR one at least) is very good, but definitely awful for dieting..

Thanks for the reminder about Jason's. I had totally forgotten about them. It's surprising how few places have salad bars.

Schobels in New Braunfels...isn't too far from San Antonio. And it has a delicious salad bar...you can get a good low carb meal by ordering their hamburger steak with onions and brown gravy and one trip to salad bar and a side of green beans for just 9.99 We love it!

You are in the wrong city if you want great salad bars. San Antonio is one of the most unhealthy cities in the US.

How so? And is this a fact or opinion?

There just don't seem to be as many local restaurants offering salad bars as there once were. Wendy's used to have a salad bar, but they discontinued them a few years back. Bonanza also had them, but they pulled out of the local market.
