There was a lot of construction slated to start to redo 151 at 1604 as well as expansion of Cottonwood way, where Brennen HS is. Anyone know if these are still a "go"?

They "DBE San Antonio" is telling us late march '11 for the 151/1604 interchange. Potranco rd is summer or Fall. Last I've heard is that an Environmentalist group is challenging the projects, because lots of Cockroaches are going to die! what a bunch of pansies, they rather sit in traffic and watch accidents...

Wow, that's one species I don't mind seeing on the "endangered" list!
Thanks for the info.

Ditto!

EPA, FMCSA, OSHA, and Various others have Fed this country up! Too many Regulations for everything! I'm just glad from a Small Business owner perspective, all the idiots that have showed up or are currently showing up do haul for the oil rigs down south. They are doing it for a ridiculous rate almost for free, its a 130 mile drive per load. So we used to get paid some where around 450 + 3 percent fuel. So now its around 300 if were lucky and 5 dollars for fuel LOL its a joke so I stopped working for them. and I am awaiting for TX Dot to get this project started only Registered LOCAL haulers are going to get a piece of this!

Any how, I'm shocked people complain about the cockroaches or natural pests in the area. I am even more amazed on the council members who listen to them. Less traffic = less emissions, and less chances for an accident.

I wonder if Cottonwood way will eventually extend into WestCreek. Would make sense with WC being zoned for Brennen.

Hopefully not, we don't need any more traffic in the subdivision.

I doubt it's cockroaches that they are concerned about. That can't be right. They do, however, have some valid concerns that I agree with. But, not roaches.
