Default House near medical center area!!

Hi all,

We are moving to San Antonio and I am looking to buy a house (less than 300 K) near the medical center area (UTHSCSA). Can anybody please suggest nice areas to live that are no more than 15-20 minutes drive from the med. center...i will be commuting during rush hour?

I have heard nice things about the houses in the stonewall ranch and the alamo ranch areas...are they far from UTHSCSA?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Stonewall Ranch and Alamo Ranch are definately more than 15 mins away from UTHSC. I live less than 5 mins away from UTHSC in an great neighborhood and I can tell you right now that you will be pretty hard pressed to make it here under 20 mins from anywhere off 1604 area.

There are a lot of beautiful homes near the Med Center. I'm currently showing homes in that area and price range, about 10 minutes from the UTHSC. Stonewall Ranch and Alamo Ranch wouldn't make for enjoyable commutes.

Alamo Ranch would be a drive, but I've put a lot of doctors into homes in the Stonewall area. It's not a bad commute at all. That area is full of people in the health care industry.
