Is there anywhere you can go in San Antonio besides the dental school if you do not have dental insurance? I need to know as soon as possible. I have some work that needs to be done. Some dentist wants high finance interest. Help

I assume you mean you need some more expensive work done? And would have to make payments? I've had work done and paid for it over several months, but of course, I wasn't a new patient. The dental insurance I used to have wasn't that much help...I was almost always paying a lot more for the insurance than it paid out.

and while it is likely mentioned in one of those threads the Dental School in SA will take patients for free treatment based on the projects the students are working on
you get student dentist and a teaching dentist to monitor that work

Why don't you want to go to the dental school?

I don't think the dental school just automaticly treats anyone who applies. You call, make an appointment, then do xrays and an exam, then they notify you whether your case meets their needs. If not, however, at least you have a free xray that can be used by an outside dentist.

ive used dr henwood whos off of new guilbeau. i recently got some braces work done on my top teeth. i dont have insurance. he seems fair. i also paid in cash and they gave me an additional discount.

im sure if you need work done, he'll charge a fair price without the high interest rates.
