So they are laying off teachers?

How do they decide this is the best financial option?

Anyone here have suggestions? I sure would like to hear money saving ideas and plans that SA Residents have to offer.

Most districts I know of are laying off their teachers that have probationary status - usually teachers with three years or less of experience in that district.

They're cutting back everywhere else first, including laying off aides and specialists where they can. Of course they will try to find other jobs for the people they're laying off, but they won't be able to shuffle every single person around.
