Well since no one has answered yet I will take a stab at it. I don't know of anyone that does free english classes but I am sure somewhere around they have some. maybe check on base to see if there is something for the wife. School, I would go ahead and try to register them in May that way if you don't have something they will tell you and you have sometime to get everything in order before the new school year. The 3yr old, schools do have early programs but its for 4 yr olds and not everyone goes. So you do need to find something for the 3 yr old unless your wife is going to stay at home and take care of the kiddos. Check the base to see what type of education classes might be offered there and around town.

Will you be going to the
English Language School at Lackland? If so, you need to
contact them as they will be able to answer all of your questions. The procedures for visiting students are not likely the same as for people who live here.
I hope you have another great stay in San Antonio!
Oh, and in case you don't already know,
is not an offensive gesture in this country as it is in yours. I almost used that smiley before I remembered it doesn't mean the same thing to you as it does to us!

Free public school here starts at age 5. There's pre-k for kids who qualify...usually through income.
