I just hope when the day comes that we do get a team, that the name has nothing to do with texas. no steers, no bulls, no riders, no tejanos<---thats the worst..LOL

I like the San Antonio Sabers (a little Alamo'ish) or the San Antonio Mustangs. The Chupacabra's suggestion was hilarious! That would make a great Mascot!

Sorry I didn't answer your question sooner. But I'm just interested in the NFL. I think SA would do a better job at supporting an NFL team then some of the present cities. TX is NFL crazy. NM doesn't have enough capital to support a team. TX is big time. I love cutting edge NFL topics. Besides the "politicos" around here would screw up a possible NFL team. Not enough people would support it. Maybe someday. But it's a long way off. If we ever did I'd like call them the Albuquerque or New Mexico Rattle Snakes.

San Antonio Defenders sounds appropriate, Sadly S.A. may never get an NFL team. You really think that the NBA team would relinquish their spotlight? Oh and that lastcomment I am nottrying to be negative, I amjust saying.
Colors Limegreen and shocking pink LOL I am just kidding I can't think of any goos colors.
