Hi, just looking for preschool recommendations in the I-10/1604 area. I am really wanting something that is just MWF.

A couple within a few miles of 10/1604...

University United Methodist Church Day School (although their classes fill quickly and registration was in February)

Oakhills Preschool (again, classes fill up but they also keep a waiting list)

Helotes Hills UMC preschool

Concordia Lutheran and San Antonio Montessori are also nearby, but are M-F.

There are other daycare-like options, including Primrose School, Country Home, MiniTexans, etc.

We moved here in April and ended up (happily) at a preschool in Boerne, because there were no openings at any of the places we called (although I had two kids to place).

Thanks for the list of schools, but does anyone know anything about these schools? Good or Bad? What makes Mini Texans "the best"? I'd love to hear people's comments.

We used Primrose at Kayle for our daughter for about 21/2 years and then Country Home at Leon Springs for little over a year. Primrose is expensive but we loved the teachers and the care they provide. They follow academic curriculum and my daughter enjoys being going there. Country Home has an excellent facility and staffs are OK. Price is reasonable. Not as organized as Primrose but no major complaints.

I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Oak Hills. Great teachers, play based learning, positive atmosphere.
