There was a TON of smoke blowing into the Kerrville area from the south on Monday. Does anyone know what it was? I thought it looked like California when I've visited there on occasion.

You'd need about 10,000 Martin Chongs in old early 1970's pickups to match what I saw...

It reminded me of a forest fire in the Sierra Nevada. I'm surprised it didn't make the news, that I've seen.

Not sure if this is what it is: heard the weatherman the other night mention it's the annual agriculture fires in Mexico and depending on the direction of the winds we could see some of this smoke up here over the next several weeks.

I think it was coming from a local source, because it was fairly concentrated, unlike the Mexican smoke. Once I got east of Kerrville, the smoke cleared.
