I now feel like my oldest daughter is ready to start drivers ed. Due to our schedules, the parent taught route is best for us. I have my list from DPS of approved courses and was wondering if anyone has a personal recommendations of which one to/not to choose. Thanks.

Not quite sure what you're asking. If you're going the parent taught route, then what courses are you referring to?

The approved companies that are listed in the packet you receive in the mail from DPS are referred to as "courses". So I was looking to see if there were any recommendations on a particular one. I went ahead and picked one, even found a coupon code online. :O)

We used Safe2Drive, one of the companies listed on the DPS website: TxDPS - Parent Taught Driver Education

It's relatively easy, you just have to pay your money and follow the instructions. We had no problems getting my son ready for his test.

Cheers! M2
