I started taking the route southbound on S. Presa from work to home, and I noticed on the corner of S. Presa and Eager St, there is an very old rusted sign that was once a huge rusty screen at the top of two yellow homes. I cannot make out what it said, but it used to be neon due to the holes around the lettering and the letter are in cursive-script writing. I was only able to make out the first word - "The" and a capital "C".
The 2 houses are almost identical but look like they were connected in the middle at one time between them.
Does anyone have any idea what this used to be? I'm just very curious to see since its also covered in Palm Trees in the front and the area is an older part of the city.
