Last night I ate at the new restaurant that fills the old 'Ciao 2' location. It's called Cabo, and it's a seafood restaurant. I'm wondering what others have thought of this new venture. I thought the seafood was very good, very fresh, yet I thought the service seemed overbearing in all the wrong places and underwhelming in others - though they all seemed eager. The decor reminded me of a mixture - South Beach meets Southern California. I hope they work on the service, as I would like to have a NON-CHAIN restaurant with decent food succeed in our area.

It's located on Stone Oak Pkwy, between 281 and Evans Rd. Close to the old MCI/Washington Mutual center and Clear Channel complex.
