Awesome news! Hopefully this is a stepping stone to having more high-tech companies actually establishing or relocating their HQs to SA. Combined with Austin's already highly-recognized high tech presence, this could really put South Central TX on the map!

and hopefully get some nice toy stores around here like Fry's.. It would be even better if the area turned into a small San Diego where you couldn't go 500 feet without a computer store..
The timing for all this is great with my current job pumping up the resume and the time until I complete my degree ticking by..

400,000+ square feet. Just like the one they just finished in Washington state. They're talking about doubling it though and one news station said the initial DC will be about the same size as the Alamo Dome.. that's freaking huge..

The amount of jobs this one data center creates is just topping on an otherwise rich dessert. The trickle down effect alone is enough to warrant any excitement for this data center but he big dog here is the simple fact that Microsoft's name is stamped on this. Believe it or not this opens the eyes to many other technology orientated companies to San Antonio who would have otherwise not even bothered second guessing this city.

You are more than entitled to do so but may I ask what leads you to that conclusion?
