Default Carl's Jr Alamo Ranch?

Signs for a Carl's Jr restaurant have been posted for nearly 2 years at Alamo Ranch, but nothing has happened. Every time I visit the Carl's Jr on Bandera Road, I ask if there is a construction start date and have been given numerous dates, which all have pasted without any progression. Anyone know the real story about this??

Does anyone eat their burgers? I used to eat them when I was hungover in southern Calif all the time. I was excited when they announced that they were coming to SA and ate at the 410 & perrin beitle location. The "sta fe chicken sandwich" was drenched in dressing, the fries were different than the kind that they used to serve and it was pricey for SA. I haven't been back since. It could be that there is just no demand for them over here in SA.

Carl's Jr seems to vary a lot at their different locations, as far as taste, quality and even price. I think maybe they're franchises owned by different owners, but I don't know for sure. My husband likes their food, but I don't, so he usually eats it at lunchtime, and he says they're usually fairly busy then.

I thought I saw a Carls Jr sign out at the new construction between Texas Med Clinic and Jamba Juice on 151 & 410 but now I see no sign.

Yes, SKEET09, i saw that same sign too. It wasn't up for too long before they started building PANNERA Restaurant on that site.

So I'm guessing then it did change from a Carl's Jr after construction broke ground to a Panera.....maybe our mystery has been solved skeet.

I have never had a burger there, but I love the Santa Fe chicken. I only have been to the Bandera location. My wife and daughter say the burgers are like Burger King's.

Perhaps they've scrapped the Alamo Ranch one, because there's one going up at Westover Marketplace right down 151 at 410.
