I drove past Murph's on San Pedro inside Loop 410 and was very saddened to see a "For Sale" sign at Murph's. I don't know if the owner is selling the business, or the property, or what. I hope a new owner takes over and the business remains.

Fortunately, I believe that Better Boy Burger on N St Mary's is still open. They are almost exactly the same because they both used to be Whopper Burger, a local chain.

That sign has been there for over 6 months. I posted about it when I first saw it last year. I suspect the place isn't priced to sell.

Be sure to try Gyro's on Probandt in the South Side if unable to make it to Murph's on the North Side and they also have fish.

They don't actually sell gyros though so for that try Kosta's or even Rami's Pizza on the far Northeast Side.
