I just received an email from Lifetime Fitness that membership will be increased on May 1, 2011. If you are interested in joining I would recommend doing so prior to that date. I currently do not know what the monthly membership is since I have been a member since 2006 and they have had other price increases.

Also, if you are only joining because you have children and you want to use the pool facilities in the summer you can FREEZE your membership for $10 a month. (NOTE: This is what I have heard. I have never done this since I don't have children.)

What exactly does a single membership run? I've seen everything from $70/mo to $100/mo posted here and I'd like to know what to aim for if I go in for a tour. I'm basically most interested in having a place to play racquetball, with extended hours.

My husband and I have a membership and have been members since 2006. We pay I think $112/month.

you can freeze your membership for a small fee...

does anyone know anything about the Alamo swimming pool?? From what I understand they have open membership and a reduced fee for single parents with kids, but don't know anything about the facilities...

sigh....I just can't do lifetime again this summer.....
