Calling out to the forum posters who live in Boerne...
Please give me your recommendations for a nice Boerne restaurant to celebrate hubby's birthday.
I've read reviews on YELP and URBANSPOON, so now I would like to get a "local" perspective!
Limit would be around $100.
Thanks!

The Grill is good. O'Brien's off of 46 is amazing!!!

Cypress Grill off Main, Dodging Duck off River Road, Little Gretel off River Road are others.

Oh, love Dodging Duck- but it's more of a pub/brewhouse. Really really good (and interesting) salads!! Fairly casual.

I work in Boerne and the really good restaurants are few and far between here. I second Cypress Grill and Dodging Duck. Cypress is a little more upscale with a nice wine list. Duck is a microbrewery with a pretty decent menu: good salads, an outstanding burger (get it on the jalapeno cheese bun), tapas designed to go well with beer. They also have a good wine list. It just depends on what atmosphere you're looking for.

Cypress Grill in Boerne proper, but The Grill next to Rudy's in Leon Springs is fabulous!

Love Dodging Duck! It's in an old house and they have a great casual menu.

Yes, O'Brien's is definitely a great restaurant that we have enjoyed numerous times. I was hoping to try out something new to celebrate his birthday!
