Hi, I'm hoping to move to San Antonio. I looked at homes in and near Rock River Ranch. As I recall, it's only about 15 miles to Wurzbach Road where the hospitals are located and was a quick drive on the weekend. However, is this an hour commute during rush hour? I'm from Chicago and have no idea what San Antonio traffic is like.

Thanks

An hour if there is a major accident. 35/40 on a regular day. Our traffic is nowhere near as bad as other metros. My father can get from 1604/10 to San Marcos in an hour during rush hour and that's about 50/60 miles away.

Thanks. That's good to know.

I also saw beautiful areas closer in like Shavano Park, but I loved the hills in the Rock River area. It reminded me a lot of pristine areas of Southern California but with way more open space. It's really stunning.
