I'm trying to find out where in the city youth can find a place to play basketball inside during the summer. Moved here from Raleigh, NC where we had city recreation centers that were free of charge. Here the only thing I've seen are YMCA and Boys and Girls Clubs where you have to pay to join. Can anyone help?

Cuellar and Ellison parks have covered basketball pavillions. I'm sure there are others. No AC of course, but at least shade. Kind of rough neighborhoods, lots of little 10-18 year old thugs. And your kids could learn some colorful language there. We have a family membership to the YMCA and really enjoy it.

Default Thanks

We aren't conveniently located to a YMCA so I'm hesitant to pay for a membership because I don't know how much we'll use it. Was looking for something we could just go to when the mood strikes. Thanks for the info though.
