Wow....Did'nt have a clue it was that bad that way.....We were wanting to bring the family and boat out for a week of fun and sun on the water...sounds like it would be a waste of money and time......I take it the Medina River is just as bad then right?

The fishing is pretty good from what I hear. They used to have a fishing tourney every Friday night but I don't know if they still do. I've seen some HUGE fish out there though but the only fish I allow in my boat is shrimp cocktail. LOL

No, the river is worse and if I recall a few months back they were saying it's not safe to swim in either because of bacteria due to the low water level. The lake is ok to swim and boat in but I'd be super careful while boating unless you know the lake real well. There were quite a few boats on the water last weekend. The good thing about the lake when the level is this low is you don't get near that many people out there so the locals have it all to themselves.
