Does anyone have a list, or know the whereabouts, of Farmer's Markets around town. I have been disappointed with HEB produce as of late. I know there is one in The Quarry, but that is way too far from me. Thanks in advance.

There's one that looks interesting at Old Pearsall, and either Ellison or Medina Base Rd or right in there somewhere......we passed by a few weekends ago but I wasn't in need of anything at that time.

Pulga???? What is that??? I seriously cannot find decent lettuce, apples, they quit carrying my pistachios, bananas, or bell peppers all of which are my favorite. Thought it was just my HEB, so I tried other locations and the same thing. Annoyance!!!

I go to the Pearl and for what I can't get there, go to Central Market.

I have to recommend Pearl Farmer's Market. They are the ONLY local farmer's market that guarantees you are buying locally. Many sellers at other farmer's markets get their produce from the same vendor as HEB or WalMart. But not Pearl, they are strict about who they allow to sell there and the prices are comparable to other FMs.

They are open Sat 9-1 and Wed 4-7. If you want amazing peaches, they are the only place in the city to get them. And they won't be there much longer!
