AFAIK, the open BBQs are only banned in Guadalupe County. I haven't seen anything for Bexar or elsewhere.

Yah from what I understand, June and July is the peak moving season. A great time to throw down a few cold ones and cook out.

Default Can we bbq?

I spoke to the City of SA last week and was told that the burn ban allows for gas grills that have a cover on them, but does not allow wood-burning pits of any kind with or without a cover. Of course, the cover on the gas grills is supposed to be used.
I hope this helps you out!

Shoulder Clod. Cook it just like you would a brisket. Butcher shops will have 'em - never gotten anything but blank looks when askin' for 'em at HEB/Walmart.
