I don't see why not...no open flame. Buuut.....might as well cook it on the stove. Electric and BBQ shouldn't be used in the same sentence...just sayin'.

Default Electric Bar-B-Que- Live and in Concert,

Isn't electric grilling like sky writing at night ? Never tried electric bar-b-que maybe it tastes pretty good,
I don't know.
I have used Oak and Mesquite for smoking bar-b-que, well seasoned mesquite is the best I think.

You can get "smoke boxes", usually made of cast iron, that you can put on/near the heating elements. As they heat, they char the wood in the boxes, creating smoke.

Guess you can also kiss your sister.......
