i also went the extra mile to report the video to the musical artist whos music is used (bananarama) without their consent. how would you like it if your music was used to promote an agenda / lifestyle you do not agree with?

disrespectful and thieves, what a shining example the homosexual pride community is setting!
why are you so anti-gay, anti-mexican american, etc?
Bananarama is a British group popular from the 80s. I doubt that they are anywhere nearly as homophobic as the chest beating crowd here in SA.

Why don't you post something about your "church"? If someone doesn't wish to see it, they could simply ignore it. Same thing here.

If the Pope or Dalai Lama visited San Antonio, I'd appreciate a thread on it.

We, a hetero married couple, live nearby and walked over to the parade with my mom, 5 year old nephew, and our 4 kids (aged 13 to 10 months). It was a great time. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and we'll definitely go next year.

Intolerance is for suckers.

Yes, but what is intolerance for intolerant suckers...? Better yet, intolerance for those not intolerant?

Really, can we drop the "hater" nonsense? Why in the world is someone "intolerant" if they disagree? I never understood that.

Funny - if someone is offended by a lifestyle that flies in the face of their beliefs and in the general laws of nature, they're attacked. Yet those that practice such are held up as some kind of heroic subjects. I believe that what you do behind closed doors is up to you - but when you parade it in front of me, you are asking for my feedback - and I reserve the right to state it.

I don't think someone is intolerant if they disagree. But if they try to shut-up something they don't agree with (by requesting a thread be removed that isn't breaking the TOS, for example), then I think that qualifies as being intolerant.

Why is it that folks get to label others because of closely-held beliefs? If, in their opinion, it is in fact in violation of TOS why isn't it okay for them to report it as such? If the mods disagree, then it will stay.

I support the right of any group to meet in public and take video and make it available publicly, and even post in a public forum about the event. If any religious group did the same for any of their events I'd be all behind that too.
I'm not in favor of censorship of any group just based on other people being offended by what they are or what they have to say. As long as it's all legal, that's just rough (and I'm sure Youtube will get on their case in short order if they used music illegally).

I realized I'm supporting freedom in a tiny way on the 4th. That's kind of cool.
Aw, aren't you cute?

You seem to be painting certain people with a very broad paintbrush. The word "Homophobia" indicates fear. Can you give me a word that instead indicates disagreement with a homosexual lifestyle?

People label everyone based on their closely-held beliefs all the time. But alright, I'll grant you that. Lets just say I find the actions intolerant then (and leave the person aside).

I guess by him saying he found it offensive that qualifies as him stating that in his opinion it was in violation of the TOS? I suppose so, sure. If it was really in violation of the TOS I'm pretty sure the mods would have been on it, but that's neither here nor there.
