This morning driving down 281 south before Hildebrand, there was a motorcycle cop writing a ticket, further south before St. Marys St. there was a motorcycle cop pulling over a driver going north bound.
On my same drive south on IH 35 just past hwy 90, there were two more cops north and south bound with drivers pulled over.
This is an indication to me that they will be out FULL FORCE for this weekend...

If anyone cares, The Police are pretty much always doing this. You just saw where they were doing it today.

It isnt often an indicator of anything other than there is a reason (often public pressure of abnormal traffic) to be where they are at any given time.

Well, the public pressure for the weekend is on the police department, knowing the 4th of July is the worst holiday for drunk drivers.

The "public pressure" is always on the Police department for something. (a lot of things)

This kind of holiday means DWI's, Payday means bar fights, Thanksgiving and Christmas means domestic violence.....Everyday it is something, it is always something.

The cops always love Wiseman RD as well but it's not just for the holiday weekend, it's all the time.

was on my way downtown friday evening and saw plenty of cruisers on the road; all with people in the back seat. though one cruiser didn't have his lights on, shame on you!

(headlights, not police lights)

This thread is a great idea for the weekend just in case some cops choose to lie about radar readings or whatever, as they did with a family member. This way, we know where they will be so that we can be extra careful so they can't pull any BS with us.

did you get caught speeding? lol slow down!

lidar, which most SA cops are using now, is pretty darn accurate and even has a really accurate 'scope' on it. you're going to be really hard pressed to fight that in court if it was lidar you got nailed with

X/KA band, you can probably get out of since they are nowhere near as accurate as LIDAR is.

I LOVE seeing cops pull over speeders . Here's to hoping they are able to get plenty of the drunk drivers that are going to be traveling across SA this weekend too.
