You may want to look on E-bay. I got a beautiful vintage one on there - with blanket and shoes and everything - for a great price. It's an heirloom I can pass on to my daughter's kids. It was beautiful and simple.

Yes, the Catholic church has very strict guidelines (see elnina's post above). We were not allowed to be godparents to my niece, because my (Catholic) husband was not attending
Catholic services, but was attending Episcopal services with me. Plus, we were not married in a Catholic church (although that apparently was less of an issue than the attendance one with this parish).

i wasnt attempting to be rude, merely helpful. the best person suited to answer these questions, since they deal a lot with the catholic religion, would be someone in a position of power at a church.
