Hello everyone. My family and I are moving to San Antonio next month from Houston. My younger son has autism and receives ABA therapy and speech therapy at a private center here in Houston.

I have searched the threads here on ABA therapy and the information isn't quite complete or recent enough.

Does anyone have anything negative or positive to say about the following therapy centers:

-Shape of Behavior (the San Antonio location. They are also in Houston but we don't use them)

-Stone Oak Therapy

-Behavioral Innovations

-One for Autism (bad reviews online)

Any others that I am missing that provide ABA to the child (and not just training)

Stone Oak is the only one that I have heard of and I have heard good things Just as my son was getting his DX we moved from SA to Austin. We went to Busy Bodies on StarCrest for 2 years not ABA but I loved them and my son really responded well to the whole system!

Stone Oak Therapy is very good. I wish they would expand to the NW side, though! I didn't know that SOB expanded to SA. Interesting.

We have a daughter who is 6 that has autism. She is at Raba Elementary, NISD. Fabulous school, fabulous people! Love it there. The assistant principal worked for many years in special education.
