In the summer of 1972 Continental Airlines flew a Boeing 747 to the San Antonio airport for a WOAI promotional trip to Hawaii. I remember touring the 747 while she was on the ground. I was all of 7 years old at the time.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone here also remembers the 747 flight. Maybe someone out there was actually on board for the flight, worked for Continental or WOAI at the time. What would really be great if there are any photos floating around of that hot July afternoon at the airport.

Did you contact anyone at WOAI? They should have photos/videos available in their archives.
