I think I'm going to step outside and enjoy it. Absolutely stupid freezing in this building today. My hands actually hurt, it's so cold.

Meh... there was a big show in the sky out in Schertz around 5pm last evening and it sure looked like it would open up.

We all hurried home to miss the deluge that never took place. Seems more like a light sprinkling.

Why does the rain always seem to roll in with a big fanfare? ...I'm more used to the rain gently rolling in and just drizzling away for an afternoon or day.

Maybe you can sell tickets to the heat-weary for 30 minutes of heat relief just sitting in your building.

Believe me, I would if I could

the peeps at the door with the M16s might have an issue with that, though...

not sure if we're seeing the same things (i haven't been outside to see what critters the rain drummed up) but i found a few mud daubers in the house and around our back door. since i don't see them often, i am assuming the rain brought a few of them around. they're small, dark/black and resemble tiny very skinny wasps. they are non-aggressive and good at getting rid of other pests.

There were at least two car accidents during the rain when I was driving back home.

I am glad we got rain, but now I have to listen to the frogs do the "grown up" all night long. How do you keep them out the yard?
