School districts fare worse in accountability ratings this year - San Antonio Express-News

Quote:
But a bright spot is the San Antonio Independent School District, which is rated academically acceptable this year for the first time since 2008.

Though no district in the county is rated unacceptable this time, more schools were — 13 this year compared with two in 2010.
With so many school districts, it's difficult to zero in on a useful trend. We were warned to expect more schools rated "Unacceptable," but some districts, like SAISD, actually improved their performance overall.

Wow, this will impact my job in a big way. I'm going to change my entire strategy and try to bring more tutors for science and math into one of the schools mentioned in the article.
