Saw in a local neighborhood paper that KoKo FitClub will be opening soon...looks similar to what Curves (~ 30 minutes) was, but the machines are computerized and customized. I glanced at their website (kokofitclub.com), and saw that it is 69.00 per month...has anyone had experience with them in other cities? It sounds interesting, I would just hate find out they have an enormous "initiation fee" or long contract. I did love Curves for their simple approach and pricing structure...alas, they all seem to have gone away!

And yes, I know I can contact them, but wanted to seek the opinion of others first

Do not know much about them; however, I don't believe Stone Oak and Bitters cross at any point. Perhaps this is at Bitters and Blanco and they are just calling themselves a "Stone Oak" location?

was recently looking at them too...have to buy a new bathing suit this year and want to get in shape before that horrible dressing room experience before a three-way mirror.

Did anyone check them out yet??

I don't use them since I am a Lifetime member but I remember seeing them on one of the news shows when they opened. You get a personalized plan and when you go to each machine you put in your card or code or something like that and then the machine is set to what you want. Not sure but it is something like that if I recall correctly.

I looked into because they originally advertised a $65 per month (or something close to that) But, when I went to sign up for a free intro session they told me I could only get that price if I signed a one-year contract. Didn't want to commit to that...which means my payments would have been over a $100 a month. Inquiries stopped after that.
