My husband got two pairs at Eyemart Express, a pair of sunglasses and a pair of regular glasses. Within two months, the sunglasses had developed vertical cracks in the thicker lens. We took them back and they replaced the lens. It ended up a different color than the other lens, so he had one dark one and one light one, but he still wore them like that. Two months later, it was cracked again. Soon after, the regular glasses started cracking too. By the time he'd had them a year, he had to replace them because they looked horrible.

Last time, we got his glasses at Walmart. It wasn't as quick as Eyemart Express and it was a little more expensive...but it's been more than a year and they still look great.

Another vote for Walmart glasses... I always get the kids glasses at Walmart... Never had any problems... Just last month I got my 9yr olds glasses for $88... $18 for the frames... Metal/Wire (whatever you call them) frames and the arms have springs so if she snaps the arms back they won't break... and $70 for transitions lenses...

I've gotten several pair of glasses at www.goggles4u.com and they have been fine. They're also very cheap when they have good coupons floating around. My last pair of prescription sunglasses was around $15 shipped.
