The fact that they were recalled volutarily seems like a testement to good quality control. This product is mass produced in a food product factory somewhere. In this kind of enviroment things happen fast and defective product can go out the door before you realize there is a problem. When you catch it you have a recall of all suspect products. That is part of good quality control. I'm sure the company wishes it could have caught the first defective package that came off of the line but in this enviroment sometimes you just have to backtract and assume all products that were produced in a certain barch are bad and recall all of them.

exactly. when your car has a recall, you don't get mad at the dealership, they didn't have anything to do with it. instead, you should be mad at the manufacturer. it's mistakes up the food chain that you can't be held responsible for.

Do you need any more reasons on why you should not eat red meat like this? Or in this case some altered form of meat or whatever this is??? America has been ingesting antibiotic-laden meat, feces, and spoiled meat for decades. This just furthers my reasoning on why an overload of processed, red meat is terrible for the human body. Sidenote- HEB didn't have my cottage cheese yet again....damn you HEB!!!

Not that the fruits, veggies or processed food is any better. The drinks are nasty and so the sweets, and care to know where the medications come from? What about packing material, clothing, skin care? Everything is loaded with chemicals, just waiting for next recall....
But that's for another thread, we do not want be off topic here
