I do know for a fact that inside loop 410 is worse than anything outside 1604. I know because I drive into the city all the time. I'm sure most people would agree with that. NEXT
Eh. Not convincing enough. You don't speak for "most people" nor do I.

Keep trying though.

I don't want to see graffiti, litter, or losers doing drugs. You act like it's just a given and that's how all of SA is. Get the chip off of your shoulder and go better yourself. I am not "spoiled", as you assume. I also came from a poor, southern family. I got an education, became a Navy pilot, got my master's and made something of myself with little help from anyone. The real irony is I serve to protect the rights of people like you who make such ridiculous statements.

I don't really think that what I wrote applies to you but since you thought it did, I will address your response. You shouldn't apologize for getting a graduate degree, making money, or wanting the best for your family. We should all strive for that. And I thank you for your service. Even better, you did it "with little help from anyone". Awesome. But you [and like others] should think twice about casting judgment on people just because of their financial status. Especially if you yourself came from a "poor southern family". I don't have a chip on my shoulder guy. You actually solidified my argument. Poor people can produce Navy pilots with master's degrees, so don't write them off for being poor. Thanks man.

Your funny. I can't speak for anybody but, I can assume that they have a shared opinion about something so facking obvious. People do that all the time.

Almost. But not really. (next)

Wait, now you say you can't speak for anyone. You just want to believe that "most people" will agree with your observations of different areas of San Antonio.

If you people think that murderers, child molesters, thieves, etc don't reside right inside your gated community outside 1604 then you are in for some shock. Sure these bad folks live inside 410 as well but I am tired of people acting like one area is safer than another because it is NOT. Everywhere you go you have to keep an eye on your kids and yourself.

It was reported recently on TV and online that over 90% of child pornographers and predators that are caught are white males. Over half of those white males are educated and come from high paying jobs. That is a proven fact I am sad to admit.

Crime happens everywhere.

Exactly. That is why we use different words to say what we mean.

And thank you for further proving my point as well.

But you were getting a little off course with the whole pedofile talk. Those freaks live all over. Some even turn out to be San Antonio weathermen... Yikes. Sex crimes are pretty much across the board as far as demographics go.

Exactly. Live all over. Inside 410, outside 1604.

It isn't off topic. It is harsh reality. "Freaks" that commit crimes (not just sex crimes) live everywhere, even in your little safe haven out past 1604.

Whoa whoa whoa buddy, don't put words in my thread post. I am not under the impression that life is all rainbows and butterflies in the burbs. On the contrary I argued that social and economic status has nothing to do with the heart of the people. Bad people are everywhere. But, the suburbs are still safer than the inner city and city areas ( statistically ). And that is why I posted what I posted. I was saying, in essence, Taft Highschool and the area it serves is nothing to be worried about.
