Trying to pull in the local ABC station outside 1604 on Potranco with a $10 antenna is probably pushing it. If you're getting the local PBS channels (the other major local VHF channel), then it may just be a matter of a little fiddling with the antenna's "rabbit ear" dipoles.

KSAT just installed a more powerful broadcasting antenna on their tower at Elmendorf last week. I'm wondering if anybody who was having trouble picking up the station in the past is now able to get it. I think KSAT is recommending doing a rescan on your TV tuner if you couldn't get their station before the upgrade.

I live on Potraco outside 1604 and get KSAT 12 just fine with an indoor rabbit ears type HDTV antenna. I just checked it a couple of days ago, so it was after they did their antenna work. Don't remember if I was getting it before the work or not. I usually just watch satelite TV. I really bought the rabbit ears antenna to try to get channel 41 as my wife watches that, and likes to record the sat TV, while watching 41 OTA. But unfortunately I can't get 41 with the rabbit ears.
