I would put this under the off topic but since we no longer have that forum ....

I saw that ERCOT is saying tomorrow may be worse for brownouts. Not sure how it can be hotter than today.

Power here has gone off twice just briefly so I am guessing 110 degrees means rolling brownouts. Anyone else having this in their area?

I had a few power surges yesterday, but never a full brownout.

lol luckily mine did not last. 110 is not the time to be w/o air conditioning. Remind me to never ever complain during the "winter" temps!!

It is Sunday lot less Industrial/Office use of electricity today. I know our office building (Mid-Rise) sets a much higher temp on the weekends. I'm would bet that reduces demand enough not to require brownouts on weekends.

Lights are out on Military (the SeaWorld one) from 151 to at least 1604. Not sure why, but luckily it's a light traffic day out there, so it's not bad.

they will cut the southside like usual so don't worry about it. they have less vital commercial and medical buildings. this is why stone oak will never have a power loss

Sure doesn't seem like that was the case last February judging by the people affected in this forum and where they reported blackouts.

Rolling brownouts across the city (and state, too)
