We lived in Austin two years and my kids are ALWAYS saying how trashy San Antonio is.

Noo, stay away triple-digits! I'm so relieved that it has been 5-7 degrees cooler during the day.

Wow I was expecting to get flamed for my comments yet so many agree.

I do apologize to the OP for going off topic. It was just an observation of mine returning back here to SA.

I am glad to be back home for now but the heat is a bit too much!

PERSONALLY...I would rather freeze than sizzle! Think about it...you can bundle up if you're cold, but you can only take off so much if your hot!

You can get naked with someone cute if it's hot

Also, you can take a dip in the pool of water.....oh, wait! That's evaporated! Better fill up the bathtub. Oh, wait! No water in the aquifer means you're out for a few months until they get that $200 million desalination plant up & running.

Guess you're just poop outta luck.

Looks like someone is starting to see the light. SA sucks.

Started off nice this morning. Took a cool drive over highway 211 and then back to SA and buttoned up back in the house due to the freakin' sun. Oh well, the pleasant days were fun while they lasted

I'm just sick of looking at it even in nice parts of town. Until the city and culture that seems to accept it try to stop it, nothing will change. My kids have been stuck inside for 4 months with this heat... what's the point of having a sunny day when it's so oppressive you cannot go outside?

I'm getting sick of the trash around myself. What can be done on a local level? Civic Club? Adopt-a-Highway? Protest in front of the Mayor's office?

We all complain about the trash but what do any of us do?

Nothing.
