I am a 35 year male who is considering moving to SA and was curious to see if there are areas that are better to live in for someone who is single?

I run/golf/hunt and generally love being outdoors...not sure if that would help on the locations...I have seen several parks, but I am not sure of the neighborhoods.

Yeah, but Austin is more geared toward the younger crowd (college-aged or young urban professionals).

But San Antonio is more of a family town.

Between the two, I would still lean more towards Austin; but only if you don't mind being called "dad" or "sir" by girls in bars (and I don't mean in a good way)...

Yep, Austin would be a better fit for you. There are plenty of folks your age in Austin. I would not worried about feeling being too old in Austin for a 35 year old.

Dude sa is the spot...Austin is just weird and the chicks up there are tight ass snobs! Here our women are fast and easy! Lol I'm athletic and do well here. I play semi pro ball, Rec basketball, biking, hiking, and shoot! No hunting mostly gun range. There are plenty of recreational things to do in San Antonio you just need to know where to look!

Golfing and hunting? I definitely think SA would suit you fine. (Never met a hunter up there myself, and I had a place there for almost two years.)

And yes, it is easy to meet ladies in SA. The average lady may not be as in shape as they are in Austin, but they're a hell of a lot friendlier.

Enjoy!

Thanks all for the replies...I actually have a job offer in SA so Austin is not an option. I am originally from TX and have tons of friends in Austin, but surprisingly non in SA at this time. I currently live in in Virginia and don't know much about the neighborhoods of SA...

Any help is appreciated
