Really? So, you've seen it and have determined that, eh?

As to the GF taking driving classes....last I looked, only a court of law could make that a legal requirement - so chill, because you're really making yourself look petty, IMO. They have insurance, contacted the RO immediately, and took the steps to get the repairs underway. I think that is VERY commendable, and it speaks volumes for their personal integrity!

I say if the dingleberry neighbor keeps parking that lexus on the street it's going to keep getting bumped or scratched and if he hasn't realized it yet then he deserves every bit of it accidental or not. He's lucky someone hasn't come around with a sledgehammer yet cause of the way ppl like him are.

I wish I could rep you guys more than once. I feel better knowing that I tried, and I do still feel bad for this, but his unreasonbleness is making it really hard to continue with it.

Don't continue with anything any longer. You've done what was required of you and then some. Let the insurance company take it from here. That's why you pay them.

To replace a single door (glass/hardware not included) with a factory replacement and have it painted is around $1,200.00.

Lexus ES 300 Passenger Door Replacement

Now maybe in your neighborhood where there are cheapo repair shops that use Chinese knock-offs and get it done less.....

My car had a "love tap" by someone who backed into it a couple of months ago at an HEB, repair cost? $1,857.00 (and it's not a Maybach)

Oh, and you know the GF wasn't in a hurry, wasn't looking and didn't speed out of the driveway?

Gimme a break

The insurance will cover all the costs and use OEM parts.
