I think it would be awesome is the army would sell used small arms for cheap. I'd definitely pick up some surplus stuff.

One of my co-workers picked up a washer for $70, he said it was a madhouse this morning though...

He also mentioned that he didn't think there would be much remaining after what he saw this morning!

From the accounts I heard, there were a lot of people who were primed and ready to snag the items they had reconnoitered previously. My co-worker was able to get a washer and a couple of furniture items, but said there was no chance to look over several similar items as things were going quickly. People were prepared and had obviously done this before...

I think it is a very popular way for folks to grab some items at a bargain price, as such it was a madhouse...

ahh i see. i was thinking when you said 'it was a madhouse this morning...' that he had hooked it up and it was making a ton of noise.

lots of neat stuff i saw, too bad i needed none of it and when i resell stuff, its usually high-end speakers and electronics, not appliances
