i was just trying to prove a point. some people go crazy when they see gas is $.10 cheaper, but I don't think many people really sit down and realize how futile the savings are when we're talking pennies to the gallon.

and sorry OP, wasn't trying to bash on you, may have been taken out of context.

San Antonio Gas Prices - Find Cheap Gas Prices in Texas

Pick the cheapest, drive over and fill.

Personally, I'm not driving all over town just to
save a few cents or even a few bucks on a fill.
I only fill once every 4-to-5 weeks as it is now.

You could be living in Ottawa, Ontario Canada where
gas is $5.53/gallon.
I guess that is how the Canadians fund their government-run health insurance! Are we next?

$3.10 at Walmart!! (I know it's Walmart gas...but if it damages your car, they will pay for the damages according to the fine print..)

^^^ Seriously, how would you prove that their gas damaged your car, and ... do you really think you would win??

DON'T pick the cheapest. If it's 20 miles from your house, you'll lose $$$.

Pick the cheapest that's close to you or your route so you don't really add too many extra miles to your car. Simple.

Im a courier.. drive all over the place every day. Generally best prices are south and east sides.. E Southcross has some cheap places butit is a pain having to hit the ATM for cash only places.. but no moreso than the buying a HEB giftcard to go get gas with for 11c off. The India Store at Wirzbach and Evers is cheaper than anyplace else in med ctr-ish area. If Im on E and someplace like Stone Oak or out of town a little where its outrageous, I just get 10 bucks worth and hope my next run taks me past a cheaper place.. usually does. Never go out of my way for cheaper gas, just float my way to it and fill up where its better than most.
