Chispa @ Soluna is the best Margarita in town.

Discuss.

Soluna margaritas are top shelf, but in my opinion are fair. Taco Garage, right up Broadway are far more superior than Soluna's margaritas! Yum!!! Friday is not here fast enough!!!!

I only know of Taco Garage's ritas at their downtown location and albeit good, they do tend to go a little heavy on the lime and mix. It makes for a deadly cocktail for those of us who suffer from acid reflux.

I still think Rosarios frozen tuna margarita is one of the best in town.

There's a particular bartender at the Chili's in the Forum that makes a deadly one. And I've also had one at Rosarios that left a horrible taste in my mouth. I'm picky about my mixed liqour. I love seeing the bartender make their version of a particular drink. Even though the ingredients are always the same, how one mixes and in what order can sometimes change the taste.

But I'm no expert. I'm from the Army way of mixing Squirt, Smirnoff or Absolut Vodka (whichever was on sale), and pre squeezed lime juice in a 2qrt canteen with a Winterfresh breathmint for a fancy drink. Oh yeah, I'm awesome.

La Fogata on Vance Jackson used to be the place to go for Margarita's but I don't know if that's still the case. As far as Margarita's go I can take them or leave them so I'm definatley no expert.

El jarro's 'arturos' Margarita is great - 100% agave tequila (hornitos), cointreau and fresh lime juice. No crappy, sugary mix.

For me, it's a tie between El Mirasol at Blanco and Cielito Lindo at Stone Oak

Weren't the (or perhaps aren't the) Margaritas at La Fogata wine instead of tequila? I had a bad reaction to one (yes-1) once. Someone suggested it was the wine. Of course I drink wine without a problem and I drink regular margaritas without a problem so maybe it was the food after all. No matter what, I've had a long tough day so the best margarita right now would be one someone ran on over to my house to me

Wine in La Fogata margaritas? You're joking, right?

Ask them to leave the flower out of the drink next time.... I've heard people swear it gives them headaches.
