Yesterday around 5:45 there were helicopters overhead, police and fire trucks there and the parking lot was cleared out....does anyone know what happened?

Bomb scare, according to Fox 29.

A later tweet from there has the reason.

I wondered. When I looked at the news channels there was nothing.

I arrived at that Walmart just as the second police car was pulling up in front of the store. The first police car was parked to the right of the "Food" entrance with a yellow caution tape draped from the right of the entrance, around the police car, and then to a sign at the end of the building. I went through this entrance and two police officers and some store officials were talking just inside the store entrance. About 10 minutes later it was announced that this "Food" entrance would be closed for a little while and everyone must use the other entrance that goes to the pharmacy side. None of the store clerks seemed to know what was going on or cared. As I left, I noticed that a third police car was parked out front and an ambulance was about 30 feet away. They also expanded the yellow caution tape to include the entire entrance and the road in front.

No, just closed off the entryway and the street in front.

Based on the amount of theft I see there (eating stuff w/o paying for it) that wouldn't surprise me in the least. Whenever I buy grapes I always grab a bunch high up and beneath what's on top to avoid the bags that have been grazed on.

At any rate when I drove by there folks were way to close to the building. Military makes you move 300ft away from the source.
