If a homeowner had an intruder break into their home in the middle of the night brandishing a semi-automatic, and they shot said intruder, it still wouldn't surprise me to hear someone in the intruder's family express outrage at the homeowner's actions.

I know, it wasn't an honest question. It was more of a rhetorical "are you shi**ing me?" question in response to the family's ridiculous charge of overreaction.

Isn't a car considered a deadly weapon in certain circumstances?

Someone driving a car deliberately into someone else, especially when the other person is walking towards them, sure sounds like the car was used in the same way as any other deadly weapon.

The officer was fully justified in shooting the person behind the wheel of the stolen car.

How was the police officer to know the person behind the wheel of the car wasn't going to run him over to?

oxygen is just wasted on some people in SA

Fitting quote after standing behind a hacking man, sick looking man who had to lean against the counter at HEB and stood in line for 10 minutes just to get a pack of Dorel Menthol 100's

Nicotine addiction is a tough one to break. I smoked for 25 years, and tried I don't know how many times to quit. People who smoke hate it, no matter how adamant they get about how much they love it. They're lying, because addicts lie. I feel very sorry for people like the guy you've described. Death from cigarettes is almost a given for him. So preventable. Off-topic but hopefully my words will resonate with a smoker. Please quit if you smoke!!!
