I met Martha Raye, and Mama Cass Elliott at the world premiere of "Pufnstuf" at Noth Star Cinema in 1969. I talked with Earl Holliman at the Eagle Supermarket on San Pedro in 1981. I talked with Fred Rogers (MisteRogers) at the San Antonio Airport in 1983.

Wrestler Manny Fernadez was a regular customer at the San Pedro Drive In back in the 1980s. He would always chat with us when he came to the snack bar

San Antonio Evening News muckraker Paul Thompson was a regular customer of the North Star Cinema in the late 60s and early 70s. He was VERY firiendly, and knew most of us who worked the afternoon shifts there by name. Of course movie critic, Bob Polunsky made regualar trips to the Cinema to see our movies.

ha ha, I like the stone cold stories. i worked at wherehouse music in the colonade, and he was a regular shopper there. I would recommend him new rock bands to listen to, he'd come back to the store, and always say, he liked what I sold him. he wasnt too happy when we went out of buisness I remember.

I met Salma Hayek downtown some years back.

I've known a few. From the old Dallas Cowboys days, Lee Roy Jordan and Ron Whitby and I used to do lunch about twice a month. Walt Garrison would sometimes be around. Tommy Lee Jones but everybody knew where he ate breakfast almost every day. I've gone to Fiesta with Tish Hinojosa and family but she's not near as popular here as she is in Europe where shes a multi Platinum singer. I've sat down to dinner with Selena and her husband a time a two. Back in the mid 70's I had Conway Twitty playing in my garage after a rodeo appearance. I went to school with his bass player and instead of him coming by, he brought the entire band and bus. Ran into Ringo Starr back stage when he was performing at the Sunken Gardens. Introduced my youngest girl to him and they still chat occasionally-calls her his little bird from San Antonio. The guy's a hoot!.There's a few others but frankly, it hard not to run into the folks in the entertainment business in SA.

Hmm, not really. At the circus last month I saw Ilene Teves and Bridget Smith from Channel 5's morning show a number of times, but I didn't speak to them. Oh, and I saw Peggy Kokkernot once. I was at Eisenhauer Flea Market one day when Alice Cooper was shopping there, he bought tennis shoes. And one time in the 80's, Motley Crue's tour bus was parked at Windsor Park Mall. All us kids surrounded it, but we never saw them. The driver said they weren't in there but we waited for an hour anyway
