hello from ST. Louis! Living here for the next year or so. Weather here is great. Chilly in mornings, nice and warm in afternoon. Food sucks, especially the BBQ (Texas has it beat). Missourians like to put sugar in everything--baked beans, bbq sauce, super sweet tea, etc.No bugs here. Its humid down by the mighty Mississippi River. I stood on the same spot Lewis and Clark launched their voyage. Nice to see a city that supports a baseball team..I hate basketball and football, so I seem to fit in here. Roads suck. Pothole paradise. Think I'm the only person with black hair in this city. Seems everyone works out here. Love the vintage red brick architecture. Cheap cost of living. Texas landscape is prettier. Oh, for you mechanics out there...NO ETHANOL here. My car is happy about that. K, more later.

doss, I know what you mean about the dark hair. I go home to visit and it's like children of the corn with all the blondes. Too funny!

And I too LOVE St. Louis architecture - I love the row houses, the red brick...just love it. And I miss it.

I am biased, but I don't think the Texas landscape is prettier. I'm a farm girl from central Illinois and to me, the countryside is gorgeous regardless of the time of year.

I'm so glad you're liking it!

GO CARDS!!!

I was just looking at the "celebrity look-alikes" on MySA.com and all I can say is there are some real "stretches" there and it also makes me think there is too much drinking going on in here in SA.

Celebrity Lookalikes - San Antonio Express-News

The one girl does look a lot like Kate Middleton!

The rest are quite a stretch of the imagination!
