congrats on the new job. Today is actually my first day of unemployment and it feels good. I was originally supposed to start a different job today, but that was prior to me getting the job in Germany. Now I just have to go a couple weeks without getting paid, but I'll also get to rest and accomplish about a bazillion things on my latest list of things to do before I leave..

My wife is going with me, eventually, and the kids could use a little less enabling.. I will definitely miss the granddaughter, though. Good thing there's Facetime.

I have been out of work for 2 months (old company called me back and am re-starting soon) and I dont mind telling anyone that the internet is not nearly as "vast" as people think. When everyone you know is at work, you run out of things to do really fast.
