Suit of armor?

Me personally? I don't mind summery weather, but I am deathly afraid of roaches. I'm a prisoner in my house on warm nights. It's terrible. I'm seriously considering seeking out therapy or hypnosis or something. Deathly afraid of roaches? Live in a super old neighborhood in a super old pier and beam house in Texas. It'll work itself out, right?

Only time I ever see roaches in my house is after my wife gets back from Florida, which is where she just happens to be right now.. Never live there if you don't like them!
and I was talking about a car, not a suit of armor
I'm the anti-car guy here.

Florida is infested with them and sometimes they find their way into the luggage. I can't stand them, but you've gotta admit that they're probably the ultimate animal. Nothing in the history of the world will ever be able to completely get rid of them.

^See, that's why I have to get help with my phobia, because they're not going anywhere, stupid indestructible pieces of...Blegh!

We get exterminated every quarter, so if they do make it inside, they're not getting far. It's just that every time I go out on the porches, they fly around all crazy style, like I'm a really attractive beacon of fear.

OH, I thought you meant they only come out when your wife is around.....

I don't really have a roach problem. Might see one once a quarter, if at all. The key is just to keep all your stuff clean of food debris. Throw out your garbage at least every other night. Fix leaks (they love water) and make sure all tap water is shut tight.

I agree, though, the worst feeling in the world is that feather-like-crawl-up-your-leg as you tuck into bed for the night. The kind where you are not sure if you felt it or not, but too scared to take a look. So, you do a ninja jump out of your bed anyways and shake your body like you're doing the salsa and speed drugs all at once.

You gave me shivers there, TexasNick. Bad shivers. Any idea how to cut down on the outdoor population? Is that even possible? My poor husband is disappointed, I'm sure, because we had all sorts of plans to spend our evenings sipping wine on the grand old galleries, but I just can't do it- not after dark.

Get a bottle that's supposed to make about 20 gallons, but only make one with it. You'll know it's working when the dogs are coughing and bugs are literally dropping out of the air all around you..

I don't like bugs at all..
