Need a source of firewood on the north side. Just enough to fill up cargo space in the van.

Look on Craiges List. Some guy is giving away free oak firewood and cedar posts in Bulverde. He says he just cut down a bunch of oaks and cedars. My guess is he has them in a big pile and is looking for people to come with chain saws and make the pile smaller.

there is a swimming pool supply store on 281 going north between Brook Hollow and Thousand Oaks next to a Pizza Hut, (Whew).. There they sell firewood and have been for many years. Although,, at this moment, I can't think of the name of the pool supply store...

Poolside Sales & Service?

Not a fan of their swimming pool repair business but shouldn't be a problem for firewood.

Cedar wouldn't be a good choice for firewood. The HOW Foundation is one of the cheapest places for firewood with a varied selection from oak to pecan. Wherever you buy, beware of bringing oak wilt with you.
